in senior management so whilst we value qualifications and academia the process is far
more effective if the person you are learning from is not merely an accredited coach but
has a senior corporate and business background. Someone who understands the issues
facing senior management, because they have already been there themselves.
Philip is a hugely experienced Chairman and CEO of both quoted
and private groups and has been coaching since 1998.

He started his enviable international corporate career from a US
base working with IBM, Unisys and Sperry over a 10 year period
before returning to the UK as an executive director with Plessey
Plc where he was the Group Director of Corporate Development.
He was subsequently appointed Group Chief Executive of North
Sea Assets Plc. which he radically restructured and sold at a
significant premium to Haliburton in 1995.
In more recent years he has acquired an extensive portfolio of non executive interests
and amongst other pursuits is currently a Governor of Bath Spa University, Chairman of
Leisure & Gaming Plc and a non-executive Director of Elitel, the Italian telecoms group.  
He is a fully accredited qualified coach, having been trained in both the US and UK.  
He has a law degree from Cambridge University and has completed the strategic
marketing programme at Harvard Business School.
